Come celebrate spring with us at Camp Akita! Join us on Sunday, April 26, for a relaxed, open-house-style afternoon, drop in anytime between 1–4 PM and enjoy all the fun camp has to offer.

• Scenic hikes along beautiful spring trails (maps available)

• Canoeing or fishing at the lake (bring your own fishing gear)

• A camp-wide scavenger hunt 

• S’mores by the campfire

• Hayrides to the Adventure Complex
  • Climb the Alpine Tower
  • Take a ride on the Giant Swing

• Hands-on spring crafts

• Hocking Hills Grilled Cheese Food Truck (food available for purchase)

• The Akita Store will be open for camp merch

• Or simply kick back, relax, and enjoy the day with friends and family!

Good-to-Know Information:

• All activities are outdoors (weather permitting), with the exception of the Akita Store and Spring Crafts.
• Bring a reusable water bottle, refilling stations will be in the Dining Hall and the Lodge.
• Dogs are welcome! Please keep them leashed at all times. Per Hocking County health regulations, pets are not permitted inside the Lodge or Dining Hall.
