Summer Programs
1, 2, 3…Akita! provides faith-based summer fun and an outdoor adventure for children who will be going into grades 1, 2, or 3 in the Fall of 2026.
The first two days will be spent exploring our faith while learning about a country where First Community has a mission connection led by the amazing K-5 staff. Campers will move their body, make art, cook, and play games. On the third day, campers will travel to Camp Akita by bus to have fun with our summer camp counselors. Bring a swimsuit because we plan to be outside with lots of messy and wet games!!
At Camp Akita we will play games, sing camp songs, do crafts, and go to the lake. Lunch will be provided. We hope this will be a great opportunity for our youngest campers to become comfortable and confident at Camp Akita.
Note to third graders: You can also stay overnight at Camp Akita! Read more about 3rd & 4th grade camp
