Register for Camp Akita

Registration for Camp Akita 2019 opens at 9am on January 5

Registration is only open for Family Camp. All other 2019 summer programs have closed.

What you need to know before you register

  • Camp Akita is owned and operated by First Community Church. We believe all people are included in God's unconditional love and grace and welcome campers and staff from all backgrounds openly and without hesitation. Want to learn more about our theology? Click here.
  • We believe in creating a safe place at Camp Akita for our children and staff. Campers will be sent home immediately and without a refund, if they are found in possession of weapons, drugs, alcohol, and tobacco or nicotine products. This includes paraphanelia like a JUUL. Campers will also be sent home for the use or threat of violence against another camper or staff member.
  • A $75 non-refundable deposit per session is required to register. The full balance is due on June 1st, a 5 month payment plan starting on February 1st is an option during registration.   If you would like to view our cancelation policy, please click here.
  • To apply for a scholarship, email and ask for a scholarship request form. 
  • All campers must have current immunizations in accordance with state law. Non-immunized campers must fill out an immunization waiver form to attend Camp Akita. To view the form, please click here.
  • If you register someone else's child under your own account, you will be financially responsible for that camper. We cannot transfer a camper to a different account once a deposit is paid.  Church members may not register kids of non-members, unless they are their parent, guardian or grandparent.
